ALLOY STEEL 8630, ALSO REFERRED TO AS AISI 8630, IS A LOW-ALLOY STEEL DISTINGUISHED BY ITS SPECIFIC COMBINATION OF CHROMIUM, MOLYBDENUM, AND NICKEL. IT OFFERS STRONG MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND IS READILY WELDABLE USING MOST STANDARD TECHNIQUES. KNOWN FOR ITS VERSATILITY, 8630 IS WELL-SUITED FOR HOT FORGING, ROLLING, AND ANNEALING PROCESSES. DUE TO ITS STRENGTH AND RELIABILITY, IT IS COMMONLY USED IN THE PRODUCTION OF CRITICAL STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS.
