ITS DUAL-PHASE MICROSTRUCTURE—50% AUSTENITE AND 50% FERRITE—DELIVERS HIGH STRENGTH, EXCELLENT RESISTANCE TO PITTING, CREVICE CORROSION, AND STRESS CORROSION CRACKING, ESPECIALLY IN CHLORIDE-RICH AND AGGRESSIVE ENVIRONMENTS. THIS BALANCE OF MECHANICAL STRENGTH AND CORROSION RESISTANCE MAKES F51 IDEAL FOR DEMANDING APPLICATIONS IN THE OIL & GAS, CHEMICAL, POWER GENERATION, MARINE, AND BREWING INDUSTRIES.
