MONEL® K500 COMBINES THE EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANCE OF MONEL® 400 WITH SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER STRENGTH AND HARDNESS. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH AGE-HARDENING, ENABLED BY THE ADDITION OF ALUMINUM AND TITANIUM DURING ALLOYING. AVAILABLE IN ANNEALED, AGE-HARDENED, HOT-FINISHED, OR STRESS-EQUALIZED CONDITIONS, MONEL® K500 MAINTAINS HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH AND HARDNESS UP TO 650°C (1200°F), ALONG WITH EXCELLENT FATIGUE AND CORROSION FATIGUE RESISTANCE.
