General
Grade F22 is a Low alloy steel containing nominally 2.25% Chromium. F22 is commonly used as the base metal for clad components. The popularity of F22 stems from its improved weldability over 4130 while maintaining good strength and excellent impact properties.
Uses
CONNECTORS, HANGERS, BLOCK VALVES, FITTINGS & FLANGES.
Heat Treatment & Condition
AS ROLLED/ FORGED, ANNEALED, QUENCHED AND TEMPERED.
