F55 (UNS S32760) IS A SUPER DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL WITH A 50:50 AUSTENITE–FERRITE STRUCTURE. IT OFFERS HIGH STRENGTH (UP TO 600 MPA YIELD), EXCELLENT DUCTILITY, AND SUPERIOR RESISTANCE TO PITTING (PREN ≥ 40), CREVICE CORROSION, AND STRESS CORROSION CRACKING. SUITABLE FOR MARINE, OFFSHORE, AND AGGRESSIVE OIL & GAS ENVIRONMENTS, IT PERFORMS WELL DOWN TO –50 °C AND IS A COST-EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE TO 316, 22% CR DUPLEX, AND HIGH-ALLOY MATERIALS.
